The second batch of results for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, or UTME, will be made public before midnight on Saturday, according to a statement from the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, or JAMB.
In a post on his official X account, Fabian Benjamin, JAMB’s Public Communication Adviser, revealed this information and reassured applicants who took the test on Friday, April 17, that their results would be accessible later that day.
Benjamin declared, “The results of the UTME conducted on Friday, April 17, 2026, will be released before midnight today.”
He also stated that updates will be posted on his social media profile and that an official notice would be sent out as soon as the findings were announced.
The most recent announcement comes after JAMB previously made results available to 632,788 students who took the test on Thursday.
More than two million candidates are anticipated to take part in the 2026 UTME, which got underway nationwide on Thursday at certified computer-based testing facilities.
